Shelvin Mack Has Near Double-Double Off The Bench
6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Shelvin Mack had a good game off the bench for his team on Tuesday against the Washington Wizards. He scored 14 points, on a solid 5-for-8 shooting, and hit 2-of-3 three-pointers. The Grizzlies backup point guard, also had eight dimes, two rebounds, one steal, and had no turnovers, in his 30 minutes. The two three-pointers were a nice surprise, as Mack hit just 48 shots from there last season. But, Mack is still not worth an add, despite this performance. He’s averaging just 8.8 points and 4.0 assists-per-game. However, if oft-injured point-guard Mike Conley is to miss time, Mack would be a decent add in 12-team and above leagues. Mack will look to have another strong bench performance against the Utah Jazz on Friday.
