Lamar Jackson Tosses Touchdown On Ravens Final Possession
6 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens went with rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson to finish out the 36-21 loss to Carolina. It paid dividends, as Jackson capped off a 64-yard, seven-play drive with a 26-yard pitch and catch to fellow rookie Hayden Hurst. It marked the first passing touchdown of his career; the No. 32 overall draft pick tallied his first rushing touchdown last week. The former Louisville star, who completed all four of his passes on the drive, was 4-for-5 for 46 yards on the afternoon. He also added 26 yards on three rushes. With Joe Flacco struggling the entire month of October, it will be interesting to see if Jackson becomes more involved as a passer. But as things stand right now, he is still mainly irrelevant in redraft leagues.
