Marcus Morris Continues To Lead Celtics Bench Unit
6 years agoBoston Celtics power forward Marcus Morris has had no problems finding his offense the last two games. On Saturday, he scored 18 points, on an efficient 7-for-12 shooting and hit his only free-throw. Morris also added eight rebounds and three three-pointers to his totals. While the rest of the Celtics try and find their groove, Morris has been solid offensively. He’s averaging 14.3 points-per-game, on 50.0 percent shooting and 88.2 percent from the free-throw line. If you're looking for a short-term add, for scoring, three-pointers, and rebounds, Morris is your guy. Just don't be afraid to cut him loose once his shooting cools down to his career norms, as he does not provide much value when he isn't hitting shots. He’ll look to continue his hot shooting when the Celtics face-off with the Detroit Pistons again on Tuesday night.
