Redskins Defense A Solid Start In Week 8
6 years agoThe Washington Redskins defense has allowed just 20.2 points per game, good for seventh best in the NFL. That number is even inflated by the unit's sole misstep of the year, when they allowed the Saints to score 43. On Sunday the Redskins will take on a Giants team averaging just slightly south of 20 points per game on offense. New York has also given up 24 sacks on the season, providing the potential for Washington's pass rush to pad that number as well. Odell Beckham Jr. and Saquon Barkley figure to have their individual success as they have for most of the season, but the Giants offense as a whole presents a nice opportunity for fantasy owners looking to stream a quality defense.
