Blake Griffin Stays Hot Against Cavaliers
6 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Blake Griffin did not disappoint coming off his huge 50-point night. Against the Cleveland Cavaliers, he scored a game-high 26 points, on an efficient 9-for-13 shooting and hit on 4-of-5 free-throws. It was a solid all-around line for Griffin too, he chipped in with 10 boards, four three-pointers, three assists, one steal, and one block, in 36 minutes. Griffin has looked rejuvenated this season, having one of the best scoring stretches of his career. So far this season, he’s scoring 33.8 points-per-game. However, the biggest surprise may be his vastly improved three-point shooting. He’s making 3.8 three-pointers a game and shooting an absurd 65.2 percent from range. Obviously, that won't be sustainable, but if Griffin’s shooting has improved to a high degree, he may be in line for one of his best seasons yet. Griffin will look to continue his hot streak on Saturday against the Boston Celtics who have the best defense in the NBA.
