Markieff Morris Scores 14 Points In Losing Effort
6 years agoWashington Wizards power forward Markieff Morris had another efficient night on Wednesday, despite his team losing to the Golden State Warriors. Morris had 14 points on 6-for-10 shooting to go along with four rebounds, two three-pointers, and two assists, in 23 minutes. Since the game was a blowout many Wizards players did not play their usual minutes, Morris included. He at least made some decent contributions for owners in the minutes he got. Morris is now averaging a solid 15.8 points-per-game and is shooting a red-hot 53.8 percent from the field. However, for his career, Morris is a 45.2 percent shooter from the field and is due for some negative regression. Especially from three-point range, where he's shooting an unsustainable 57.9 percent. Until then, owners should continue to ride his hot shooting into Friday’s game against a Sacramento Kings team that is giving up 122.0 points-per-game this season.
