Jimmy Butler Snags Six Steals On Wednesday
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Jimmy Butler had another strong stat line despite losing to the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night. Butler scored a team-high 23 points on 7-for-13 shooting and added six steals, five assists, and four rebounds, in 37 minutes of action. However, it wasn't a perfect game for Butler, as he did shot only 5-of-10 from the charity stripe, but other than that it was a great night for him. Butler is showing just how badly the Timberwolves need him so far this season. The former all-star is averaging 24.8 points and 3.8 steals-per-game while shooting a scorching hot 53.3 percent from the field. Butler is looking like a steal for anyone that drafted him in the second round as he’s producing at a top-5 clip with no signs of slowing down. Butler will look to have another huge game as his club takes on the undefeated Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.
