6 years agoVancouver Canucks defenseman Christopher Tanev (ankle) was forced out of Wednesday's shootout victory against the Vegas Golden Knights due to an apparent right ankle injury. He was clipped under the shin guard by a shot on the right ankle. The rearguard was slow to get back to the bench. However, he stayed on the bench and tried to skate during TV timeouts, but he was unable to return for another shift in what his 400th NHL game. Tanev certainly looks like a question mark with a quick turnaround Thursday in Arizona.--Daniel Dobish
