Nashville Predators goalie Juuse Saros allowed five goals on 32 shots during a 5-4 loss to the San Jose Sharks. Saros had been remarkable during Pekka Rinne's (undisclosed) absence, but this performance was one to forget. Saros now has a 4-1-0 record on the season to go along with a 2.37 GAA and .919 SV%. He is the goalie of the future in Nashville, as Rinne is an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. Saros will see a plethora of starts until Rinne returns, and it will likely be a 50/50 split once both goalies are healthy. Saros is someone to own in keeper formats.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller

Nashville Predators goaltender Juuse Saros stopped 31 of the 32 shots he faced en route to defeating the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday evening. The Predators were heavily outshot in this contest, but Saros was able to lead the way. His lone blemish came in the second frame when Sam Malinski found the back of the net on a slap shot. This was a much-needed bounce-back for Saros as he carried a five-game losing streak into Saturday's contest. During this skid, Saros held a poor .881 save percentage with a hefty 3.91 GAA. Fantasy managers should expect Justus Annunen to get the starting nod on Sunday evening against the New Jersey Devils. Saros will likely face the Florida Panthers in his next start on Tuesday evening.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Nashville Predators goaltender Juuse Saros will protect the crease for Finland against Team USA on Thursday in the 4 Nations Face-Off. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen of the Buffalo Sabres will serve as his backup, while Kevin Lankinen of the Vancouver Canucks has been scratched for the contest. Saros has helped Finland secure a couple of silver medals at the World Championships, but he has struggled in the NHL this season. The 29-year-old has posted a disappointing .899 save percentage with an 11-23-6 record. He boasts four shutouts and has a 2.95 goals-against average. Finland is missing several of its top defensemen at the tournament, so Saros will likely face a very busy night against the USA's offense led by Jack Eichel and Auston Matthews.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

According to Brooks Bratten of the Nashville Predators, goaltender Juuse Saros (illness) is questionable for Friday's contest against the Buffalo Sabres. Bratten noted that the goaltender was feeling under the weather and was unable to participate in the team's morning skate. Justus Annunen was in the starter's crease during the team's skate and will likely be given the starting nod on Friday evening. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor Saros' status leading up to their contest against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday evening. If he was still unable to play, the team would likely promote either Magnus Chrona or Matthew Murray from Milwaukee. Both have not seen NHL action during the 2024 season. Saros has held a 2-2 record over his last five outings with a .874% SV and a 3.48 GAA.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Nashville Predators goaltender Juuse Saros backstopped his team to a 3-0 victory against Vancouver on Friday, posting his fourth shutout of the campaign with 27 saves. Two of the shutouts have come in Saros' most recent six starts. Winnipeg's Connor Hellebuyck (5) is the only goalie with more shutouts this season. Saros has performed well for most of the campaign, but the team's struggles have left him with a 9-16-6 record. He has allowed 2.72 goals with a .906 save percentage. We should see a head-to-head clash between Saros and Hellebuyck on Tuesday. Nashville will likely use Justus Annunen between the sticks when the team concludes a back-to-back on Saturday versus Calgary.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
