Kelly Oubre Jr. Shoots Lights Out Against Trail Blazers
6 years agoWashington Wizards small forward Kelly Oubre Jr. had a strong shooting night in a win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Oubre scored 22 points on 9-for-13 shooting and hit all three of his three-point attempts. He added six rebounds, one steal, and one block in 39 minutes. Oubre Jr. did most of his damage off the dribble, exposing the slow-footed defenders Nik Stauskas and Evan Turner. Although Oubre Jr. is very inconsistent, he could be worth a short-term add in deeper leagues, if both Dwight Howard (buttock) and Ian Mahinmi (back) miss more time with injuries. Owners should monitor his playing time as he takes on the Golden State Warriors Wednesday night.
