Andrew Wiggins Leaves With Quad Contusion
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Andrew Wiggins checked out of Monday's 101-91 victory against the Indiana Pacers early due to a right quadriceps contusion and he was unable to return. The ailment limited him to eight points, and he managed just two points and an assist before departing. The trio of Tyus Jones, Josh Okogie and Derrick Rose each stepped up to fill the void, with Okogie doing the best from an offensive perspective with 12 points, including six in the fourth quarter.
