Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Petr Mrazek will look to frustrate the team that drafted him on Monday, with the Canes visiting the Detroit Red Wings. Mrazek wore the Wings jersey for five and a half seasons before getting traded this February. He posted a 72-58-20 record for the team in 166 appearances with a 2.60 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage. Mrazek hasn't started very well in Carolina, putting together a 1-2-1 record with a 3.07 goals-against average and a .874 save percentage. He has won only three road starts since leaving Detroit. Adding to that, the Hurricanes are 5-14-1 in the last 20 meetings in Motown, so there should be better fantasy options between the pipes tonight.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Detroit Red Wings goaltender Petr Mrazek is expected to get the starting nod on Wednesday evening when the Red Wings host the Buffalo Sabres. Mrazek was traded to the Red Wings from the Chicago Blackhawks prior to the Trade Deadline. Mrazek began his NHL career in Detroit and will look to lead them to a playoff birth. Earlier this season, Mrazek has held a modest 10-19-2 record with the Blackhawks. Across 33 games, he has held a modest 3.46 GAA with a .890 save percentage. This is a slight decline compared to the 18-31-4 record and the 3.04 GAA and .907 save percentage he posted during the 2023 campaign. Fantasy managers should expect Mrazek to split time in the crease alongside Alex Lyon and Cam Talbot. He is a viable play in DFS this evening facing the Sabres who are at the bottom of the Eastern Conference.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Petr Mrazek will aim to register his 10th victory of the season in Sunday's clash against the Minnesota Wild. Mrazek is 9-16-2 for the campaign with a 3.26 goals-against average and a .896 save percentage. In his last start, Mrazek suffered a 4-3 overtime defeat against the Carolina Hurricane, despite producing 44 saves. He has won only twice since December. There hasn't been much joy for Mrazek in 2024-25, but he has done well against Minnesota, posting a 1-1-0 record and allowing only four goals.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Petr Mrazek stopped 35 of the 36 shots he faced to lead the Blackhawks to an upset victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday evening. Mrazek's lone blemish came in the opening frame when Juuso Parssinen scored an unassisted backhand goal. This performance also snapped a three-game losing streak for Mrazek. During this losing streak, he allowed 15 goals with a poor.779% SV. This was his first game since November 21, where he only allowed one goal or less in a single start. Overall, across 24 appearances, the veteran holds an 8-14-1 record with a 3.13 GAA and a .897% SV. Given his inconsistent play this season, he should only be started in deeper formats.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Petr Mrazek (groin) has been activated from Injured Reserve ahead of Thursday's contest against Seattle. He's set to rejoin the lineup following a five-game absence, although Arvid Soderblom will be the starter in the crease. Both netminders have played well for the Blackhawks this season, but the team's lethargic offense has made it tough for them to string together a run of wins. Mrazek carries a 7-11-1 record with a 2.83 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage. Chicago has assigned Drew Commesso to the AHL as a result of Mrazek's return.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
