Brendan Steele finished in a tie for 14th in the CJ Cup at Nine Bridges. It was a vast improvement for Steele, who has been stuck in a horrible slump for several months. The 35-year-old had failed to finish inside the top 45 in 12 consecutive tournaments prior to the CJ Cup. Steele surged up the leaderboard with strong weekend play. He shot 65-69 over the final two rounds at Nine Bridges to finish at nine-under par for the tournament. Steele will look to take some positive momentum from this performance into the 2019 PGA Tour season. He is not in the field for the WGC-HSBC event this week. --Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
