Philadelphia Flyers right wing Jakub Voracek posted the game-winning goal with two assists, a plus-three rating and a hit in his 20:46 of ice time in Saturday's 5-2 victory against the New Jersey Devils. Voracek entered the game with no points over his past three outings, but he still has three goals with 11 points through eight outings. So far it's been feast of famine with Voracek with very little in between. He'll be looking for a little revenge on Monday when the Avalanche come calling. He was blanked with a minus-3 rating in the first meeting in Denver on Oct. 6, a 5-2 loss.--Daniel Dobish

Columbus Blue Jackets winger Patrik Laine (knee) is set to play on Sunday against Vegas, but fellow winger Jakub Voracek (knee) will sit out the contest. Both players were involved in knee-on-knee collisions in Friday's 3-2 shootout win over Minnesota and Laine has recovered better from the blow. Voracek is day-to-day and will have his first opportunity to return on Wednesday against Ottawa. Getting Laine in the lineup is massive for Columbus, as the Finnish winger has been in great form lately and boasts 22 goals and 42 points in 40 games this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

The incident happened late in the third period and Voracek missed overtime and the shootout. The seriousness of his injury is currently unknown. Voracek has turned back the clock lately and enjoyed a very productive period since the start of last month. He's notched 43 points in 57 games for the season, leading the team with 40 assists. Columbus returns to action on Sunday against Vegas and we should know more about Voracek's injury by then.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Jakub Voracek managed to finally get off the goose egg on Saturday against the New York Rangers of all teams. Voracek, the Columbus Blue Jackets, right-winger. He had a couple of shots on goal. The forward had 3:08 of power-play time and nearly 18 minutes of action. There were the three scoring chances and some nice passing plays with Oliver Bjorkstrand but alas those were not meant to be. Voracek will get one more crack at it on Monday against the Detroit Red Wings. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
