6 years agoTampa Bay Lightning center Steven Stamkos ripped a shot past Jimmy Howard in the second period of Thursday's 3-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings. It was the first goal of the year for Stamkos, who now has two points in his first five games. He used to be one of the most feared snipers in the league, but he has turned into more of a playmaker the past few seasons.
