DraftKings DFS Players
SS Manny Machado, LAD ($10,300)
With an extreme hitter's park in Milwaukee, it might actually be a better idea to build your lineup around elite hitters rather than expensive starting pitching. Machado is coming off of a monster season with 37 homers and can be treated as the top hitting option with his matchup against Wade Miley, who posted a poor 14.8% K-rate this year with a 4.66 SIERA.
3B Justin Turner, LAD ($9,100)
Turner is another high-end Dodgers bat to consider against Miley. Turner absolutely crushes left-handed pitching, as evidenced by his monster 179 wRC+ versus southpaws in 2018. He will get plenty of plate appearances batting second for the Dodgers, which gives him a higher floor than most other hitters.
OF Ryan Braun, MIL ($5,900)
Braun is another platoon split guy to take advantage of, and he's far cheaper than Turner. Granted, Braun has a tougher matchup against Hyun-Jin Ryu, but Braun's 125 wRC+ against lefties shows that he's still got a good shot to produce. Additionally, Braun is batting third for the Brewers, so he's got high upside to rack up runs and RBIs in the middle of the order.
3B Mike Moustakas, MIL ($5,400)
Moustakas is an outstanding value for a guy who will be batting fifth or sixth for the Brewers. He's not a phenomenal hitter, but Moose easily has the power to give you a home run or some RBIs.
RP Kenley Jansen, LAD ($3,100)
The Dodgers are only one win away from the World Series, so they'll almost certainly go to their elite closer in Kenley Jansen in a high leverage situation. Jansen will be ready for a large workload with a day off yesterday, and while his ceiling is pretty limited, Jansen can save you a ton of payroll that you can use on top-tier players.
