6 years agoArizona Coyotes goaltender Darcy Kuemper made his first appearance of the season on Tuesday, finishing with 26 saves in a 2-1 loss to his former team, the Minnesota Wild. Kuemper won only two of his ten starts last season after joining from the Kings, so a .929 save percentage from his first outing in the new year should give him confidence that he can improve. However, Antti Raanta is the clear No. 1 guy in the crease for the Yotes, so Kuemper won't see much game action, and even if he does, then he doesn't warrant a fantasy selection, as the Coyotes look set to struggle for another season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
