Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick (lower body) skated on Monday for the first time in eight days. He suffered an injury in practice back on October 7. Kings head coach John Stevens said that Quick is expected to take shots on Tuesday. These are promising signs that Quick is progressing, although he is considered week-to-week. Jack Campbell has been performing exceptionally well in his absence and is worth a pickup while Quick is out.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller

New York Rangers goaltender Jonathan Quick has been confirmed as the starter for Sunday's matchup against the Nashville Predators. The team begins a back-to-back set, and Monday's Battle of New York against the Islanders looks to be reserved for Igor Shesterkin. In his previous 15 starts this season, Quick has managed an 8-5-2 record. Five of those wins came in six starts prior to December. He has posted a 3.09 goals-against average, a .897 save percentage, and two shutouts. The past three months have not been kind to Quick, but he finds himself in a favorable spot on Sunday, as the Rangers face a team that has achieved only six road victories all season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

New York Rangers goaltender Jonathan Quick became the first United States-born goaltender to win 400 games at the NHL level. Quick defeated the Vegas Golden Knights on Sunday evening and stopped 34 of the 36 shots he faced. He allowed his first goal in the opening frame to Jack Eichel on the power-play. Later in the second, Eichel would beat him again, this time during 5-on-5 play. Quick would then keep the door shut for the remainder of the contest. This outing snapped a three-game losing streak for Quick. Igor Shesterkin was given each of the previous five starts. As a result, fantasy managers should only roster Quick in deeper formats, as he may only be given one start each week. The future Hall of Famer carries a 3.04 GAA and a .901% SV across 17 games this season.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

New York Rangers goaltender Jonathan Quick stopped 32 of the 33 shots he faced en route to defeating the Boston Bruins on Thursday evening. This was a much-needed victory for the Rangers, who came into this contest riding a four-game skid. The Rangers got out to a two-goal lead in the opening frame, and Quick was able to hold the lead throughout. His lone blemish came in the second frame when Bruins forward Elias Lindholm beat him on a wrist shot. With Igor Shesterkin (upper body) on the injured reserve, Quick should continue to see the vast majority of starts in the crease. The veteran has now allowed just one goal in each of his past two starts. He will look to stay hot on Saturday afternoon against the Washington Capitals.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

New York Rangers goaltender Jonathan Quick stopped 24 shots to collect his second consecutive shutout in Sunday's 2-0 victory over Seattle. The veteran was in action for the fourth time this season and maintained a perfect record. Quick is now the fourth goaltender in league history to win four consecutive starts to begin a season at age 38 or older. With Igor Shesterkin firmly positioning himself as the No. 1 at the club, Quick doesn't get a lot of action. But he has been very reliable for the Rangers, allowing only 0.91 goals this season with a spectacular .970 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
