DraftKings DFS Players
SP Walker Buehler, LAD (vs. MIL): $16,100
Buehler is by far the most expensive player on the slate, but it makes sense as he's the best starting pitcher available. He put together a fantastic rookie campaign, posting a 3.21 Deserved Run Average and a 3.04 FIP. Buehler's got Dodger Stadium on his side, as it's a pitcher's park, and he can easily be the highest scoring player of the night if he's able to work deep into his start.
OF Joc Pederson, LAD (vs. MIL): $9,300
Pederson should be batting leadoff for the Dodgers against a right-handed pitcher, which gives him a ton of value with only one game to choose from. It's important to maximize the number of plate appearances your hitters will get, as each trip to the plate is an opportunity to produce. With an outstanding 139 wRC+ against righties in 2018, Joc is a great bet to get on base and score runs.
1B/OF Cody Bellinger, LAD (vs. MIL): $7,700
Dodger bats clearly have the advantage tonight as they are facing a much weaker starting pitcher in Jhoulys Chacin. Chacin finished the year with a poor 4.03 FIP and 4.59 SIERA, and he only struck out less than 20% of batters. Bellinger has lots of upside at this price against Chacin.
OF Lorenzo Cain, MIL (at LAD): $5,200
Cain is insanely cheap for a leadoff hitter - it's the same reason you'd want Pederson in your lineup, except for a tougher matchup. Cain can also score you points on the basepaths, as he swiped 30 bags in the regular season. I'd recommend Cain and other cheap Brewers bats for your Milwaukee players.
