Tevin Coleman Struggles Sunday Against Buccaneers
6 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Tevin Coleman had a tough day Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Coleman struggled to get anything going on the ground, registering 35 yards on his 10 carries. Coleman somewhat rescued his day with a six-yard receiving touchdown that got him over the 10-point mark for fantasy owners. The really concerning news for Coleman is that he was out-carried by rookie Ito Smith by 11 carries to 10. It would appear that no matter which running backs are active the Falcons are committed to a 50/50 split between their top-two active backs. Until we see more from Coleman he remains at best a number two fantasy running back when Devonta Freeman is inactive.
