Devonta Freeman Not Dealing With Long-Term Injury
Devonta Freeman (foot) is not believed to be dealing with a long-term injury with his foot after missing three games due to a knee injury suffered in Week 1, according to a source. It doesn't mean he won't sit out in Week 6 against the Buccaneers, but the team doesn't fear a long-term absence for Freeman. If he sits this Sunday, Tevin Coleman would be back on the RB2 radar, while rookie Ito Smith would serve as his backup in a juicy matchup against Tampa Bay at home.

Devonta Freeman Has Another Good Game
Devonta Freeman racked up 64 rushing yards on just 13 carries with five receptions for eight yards against the Cleveland Browns. However, the headline of this game was quarterback Lamar Jackson (ankle) spraining his ankle. This is certainly not good news for Freeman, but backup Tyler Huntley played adequately enough for Freeman to maintain a good stat line. Additionally, since the 29-year-old took over for Latavius Murray in Week 6, he has amassed at least 10 fantasy points in 0.5 PPR leagues five times and failed to do so only thrice (with none of those games being under 6.5 points). Regardless of Jackson's injury status, Freeman can be started as an RB2 in all leagues, but Jackson's absence would harm his value.

Devonta Freeman Scores, Racks Up 97 Totals Yards In Week 13
Devonta Freeman had 14 carries for 52 yards and one touchdown and recorded five catches on eight targets for 45 yards in Sunday's 20-19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 29-year-old led the Ravens backfield in rushing attempts and found the end zone in Sunday's loss. He's getting the bulk of the touches and has logged at least 14 carries in three straight games. Freeman has rushed for 376 yards on 89 attempts with four touchdowns while catching 23 passes for 170 yards and one score over 11 games in 2021. The veteran back will look to build on Sunday's performance when the Ravens take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 14.

Devonta Freeman Leads Ravens Backfield With 16 Carries
Devonta Freeman logged 16 carries for 52 yards and caught his only target for eight yards in Sunday's 16-10 win over the Cleveland Browns. He led the Ravens backfield with 16 carries and offensive snaps but averaged only 3.3 yards per carry. The 29-year-old has topped 50 rushing yards twice over the last four games. Freeman is the Ravens back to roster, but his fantasy value doesn't have a high ceiling with Lamar Jackson as its starting quarterback. The veteran is an RB3/flex against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 13.

Devonta Freeman Leads Team To A Late Victory On Sunday
Devonta Freeman finished with 49 yards off 16 carries during the win over Chicago in Week 11. The 29-year-old also scored a touchdown, and it was an important one, finding the end zone off a three-yard run late in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. As expected, he split touches with backup signal-caller Tyler Huntley and Latavius Murray, who returned from the ankle injury that sidelined him since Week 6. However, it's apparent Freeman is currently the team's unofficial lead option out of the backfield. Nonetheless, despite the anticipated timeshare with Murray and Lamar Jackson moving ahead, he does possess flex appeal in most formats for the Thursday Night Football showdown against Cleveland in Week 12.
