6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson (ribs) was estimated to be a limited participant in practice Wednesday by head coach Jay Gruden. The team had just a walk-through, so we'll get a better idea of Thompson's status Thursday into Friday. Thompson suffered an injury to his ribs in the Week 5 game on Monday in New Orleans. Before leaving the game he was productive catching passes out of the backfield, as the team had abandoned the run with the game out of hand. That's his biggest contribution to fantasy owners, his soft hands out of the backfield, and he remains a decent RB3 or flex option in PPR formats when healthy.--Daniel Dobish
