Tre'Quan Smith Surprises With 111 Yards, Two Touchdowns
6 years agoNew Orleans wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith caught three passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns in the Saints blowout over the Redskins. The little-used receiver came into the contest with only one reception on the season but delivered some huge plays. None more important than catching a bomb from Drew Brees for a 62-yard touchdown that also gave Brees the most passing yards in NFL history. Smith's huge performance can mostly be chalked up to blown coverage's and the Redskins insistence on taking receiver Michael Thomas out of the equation. This monster game should merely be considered a blip on the radar for now in fantasy.
