Memphis Grizzlies power forward JaMychal Green was one rebound shy of a double-double in Friday’s preseason win over the Hawks. Green scored 13 points with nine rebounds, while going 3-for-5 from deep. The Alabama graduate also dished out three and blocked two. The forward is coming off a season where he averaged 10.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game. With the addition of rookie Jaren Jackson Jr. to the Grizzlies this season, we could see a slight drop in the veteran’s minutes.--HParker

Golden State Warriors forward JaMychal Green received the start ahead of Kevon Looney during Thursday's Game 2 against the Los Angeles Lakers. It was a bit surprising given how well Looney has been rebounding lately. However, the Warriors wanted to go with a different look and it worked on Thursday. Green finished with 15 points, two assists, and one rebound in 13 minutes of action. It sounds like Looney wasn't feeling 100 percent, so that's the main reason why Green moved into the starting unit. Although, it worked well, so possibly the Warriors continue to ride with Green as the starter going forward.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Golden State Warriors forward JaMychal Green (leg) has missed the last seven games due to multiple issues. At first, Green was sidelined due to the league's health and safety protocols. Now, Green is dealing with a leg infection that could cause him to miss more time. The organization announced that they plan to re-evaluate Green in one week. Normally, his absence wouldn't make a huge impact on the rotation. Although, the Warriors are shorthanded with Jonathan Kuminga and James Wiseman also sidelined. That being said, Anthony Lamb could have some deep league streaming appeal while the Warriors are banged up.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Golden State Warriors forward/center JaMychal Green (wrist) is a late addition to the injury report ahead of Friday's matchup against the Knicks. He is dealing with right wrist soreness and is considered questionable for the game. Green has been a solid backup player for the Warriors, averaging 4.8 points a night with 4.5 rebounds in 17 minutes. His absence will open up minutes for Anthony Lamb and Jonathan Kuminga. With the latter struggling for form this season, Lamb looks like the better option of the two, and he has been a nice addition to the rotation this month, averaging 9.8 points with 4.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steals. He could really explode with bigger minutes, but only time will tell if the opportunity arises.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Oklahoma City Thunder forward JaMychal Green has agreed to a buyout with the organization. He was recently traded along with a draft pick from the Denver Nuggets to OKC in exchange for the 30th overall pick in this year's draft. Green didn't last too long in Oklahoma City as the team didn't believe he fit their current scheme. The organization looked for a trade partner, but couldn't find anyone to take Green. That being said, the two sides agreed on a buyout, so Green can join the Golden State Warriors. He's expected to play a reserve role off the bench in Golden State. The team is attempting to replace the production of Otto Porter Jr. who left in free agency. Last season, Green averaged 6.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in 16.2 minutes per game. It's unlikely that Green holds fantasy value in Golden State, assuming their starters stay relatively healthy.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
