Anibal Sanchez Victimized By The Long Ball In Game 2
6 years agoAtlanta Braves starter Anibal Sanchez went 4 2/3 innings, allowing three runs on five hits in a Game 2 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. He walked one batter while striking out three. Sanchez pitched decent, but he made costly mistakes on a two-run blast by Manny Machado and a solo shot by Yasmani Grandal. The 34-year-old was a bright spot in the Braves rotation during the regular season, but unless his team can force a Game 5 it seems as though Sanchez will not make another appearance.
