DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers
Clayton Kershaw - P, vs ATL ($8,000)
Fellow Dodger lefty Hyun-Jin Ryu dominated the Braves lineup last night, going seven scoreless with eight strikeouts, no walks, and just four hits allowed. This gives me confidence that Kershaw can have similar success, and it's also nice that he's pitching in Dodger Stadium - the only pitcher-friendly park available tonight. Kersh had another outstanding season, with a 3.19 FIP and a 3.11 Deserved Run Average, and you can easily fit him into your lineup at this price.
Chris Sale - P, vs NYY ($9,600)
The Yankees lineup is definitely scary, but you have to acknowledge that Sale had an insanely good year. He posted a 1.98 FIP with a 38.4% K-rate and a 4.5% walk-rate. Sale is undoubtedly the best pitcher on this slate, and the Red Sox are likely going to ride him deep into this game.
DraftKings DFS Infielders
Jesus Aguilar - 1B, vs COL ($4,900)
Stacking Brewers hitters looks like it will be the optimal strategy on Friday. Rockies starter Tyler Anderson had a poor 4.57 FIP this year and is easily the worst pitcher who will be taking the hill. Aguilar, meanwhile, demolished lefties with a 148 wRC+. He and his teammates should have a big day in an extreme hitter's park in Milwaukee.
Jose Altuve - 2B, vs CLE ($4,300)
Altuve may have disappointed fantasy owners this year, but he still posted a strong .362 wOBA with just a 13.2% K-rate. He should get the ball into play out of the Astros two-hole, a great spot for runs and RBIs.
Jose Ramirez - 2B/3B, at HOU ($4,800)
I'm not worried about Ramirez cooling off towards the end of the season - he still had a ridiculous season with 39 homers, 34 steals, and a 15.2% walk-rate with an 11.5% K-rate. He's one of the only bats I'd take against Justin Verlander.
Xander Bogaerts - SS, vs NYY ($4,700)
Bogaerts should be batting cleanup for the Red Sox behind Mookie Betts, Andrew Benintendi, and J.D. Martinez. There's no better spot you could be in for RBIs. I'm loving Boston bats in Fenway Park, an awesome spot for hitters.
DraftKings DFS Outfielders
Yasiel Puig - OF, vs ATL ($4,200)
Puig was elite against right-handed pitching this year with his 150 wRC+. While I don't like that he's low in the Dodgers order, he should still make the most out of his plate appearances. Puig can score in various ways with his power/speed combo.
Carlos Gonzalez - OF, at MIL ($4,700)
Rockies hitters are another attractive bunch to consider against Jhoulys Chacin. Chacin had a 4.03 FIP with a poor 19.6% K-rate in regular season play.
