George Kittle Makes Long House Call
6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle grabbed 6-of-8 targets for 125 yards and a score in Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Kittle’s touchdown came on an 82-yard catch-and-run in the third quarter to spark the Niners’ comeback attempt. Kittle is now up to 316 receiving yards on 18 catches and appears to be the 49ers most reliable pass catcher. Second-year quarterback C.J. Beathard performed well enough to assure Kittle owners his value shouldn’t be too affected by quarterback play. He’ll be a TE1 in Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals.
