Alfred Morris At Risk Of Unfavorable Game Flow
6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Alfred Morris (knee) enters Week 4 with an established role but game flow could be a risk to his fantasy contribution. With second-year quarterback C.J. Beathard under center, the 49ers could struggle to consistently move the chains against the Los Angeles Chargers. Morris has handled at least 12 carries in each game, averaging 3.8 yards per tote. He also looks to be the Niners’ back of choice at the goal line. However, Morris is a nonfactor in the passing game with only two catches in a matchup that could force Beathard to air it out. The uncertainty surrounding Beathard’s playmaking ability renders Morris a low-end, touchdown-dependent flex option against the Bolts.
