Mookie Betts Reaches 30/30 Club
6 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts was 2-for-2 with a walk, a run scored, and a stolen base in the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Baltimore Orioles. Betts joined Jose Ramirez of the Cleveland Indians as the only players with at least 30 steals and 30 home runs this season. Betts has been ridiculous all year long. The AL-MVP candidate is slashing a monstrous .346/.437/.643 to go along with 32 homers, 80 RBI, 126 runs scored, and 30 steals. Had he played a full season, Betts would likely have been the most valuable fantasy player in the league. He has a claim to be the number one pick in 2019 drafts.
