Kirk Cousins In Tough Spot Against Stout Rams Defense
6 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins will be looking to rebound after a clunker of a game in Week 3. Unfortunately for him, he's facing the Los Angeles Rams who possess the best passing defense in the league through the early season. Luckily, starting corner Aqib Talib (ankle) is out of commission while fellow corner Marcus Peters (calf) is a game-day decision. These injuries could make life a little easier for Cousins, who has averaged 322 yards per game this season, but the Rams potent defensive line could still cause headaches. Cousins can be started, especially if Peters remains sidelined, but it is hard to classify him as a Top-10 option for Week 4. A 275-yard, two TD performance would be a great outing considering the circumstances.
