Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich came through in big moments in the late innings Monday versus the Cardinals. In the sixth inning, he scored to give the Brewers a 2-1 lead. In the seventh inning, he drove in a run to tie the game at 4-4. And in the ninth inning, he would double to drive in an insurance run to make it 6-4, which would be the final score. Yelich has been a big factor for the Brewers this season with 32 HR, 96 RBI, and 108 runs scored. He also has stolen 21 bases. As of the end of September 24, Yelich leads the National League with a .321 batting average, a .576 slugging percentage and a .967 OPS. Yelich has been one of the better fantasy options in 2018.--Jamie Mellor

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich turned in a productive day in a 5-1 win over the Houston Astros on Monday. Yelich went 1-for-3 with a homer, a walk, two runs, two RBI, and a stolen base in the winning effort. The veteran outfielder launched a two-run homer in the third inning to push Milwaukee's lead to 3-0 in the contest. Yelich owns a rough .210 batting average, but he's producing across the board despite it, with six homers, 17 runs, 25 RBI, and seven steals over 124 at-bats. He remains a high-end fantasy outfielder in all leagues.--Matt T - RotoBaller

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich is getting the day off for Thursday's series finale in Chicago against the hosting White Sox. Catcher William Contreras will get a day off his feet and serve as the designated hitter while batting cleanup, and Eric Haase will do the catching and hit ninth against White Sox right-hander Sean Burke. Coming off offseason back surgery, Yelich has struggled at the plate so far in 2025, batting .220/.333/.385 but he does have five home runs, 23 RBI, 14 runs scored and six stolen bases in his 109 at-bats. He's gone hitless in his last two outings and has six hits in his last 29 plate appearances with four RBI, a steal and a run scored in his last six games. While Yelich's average is down compared to what we've come to expect of him, he's still producing. Expect him back in action for Friday's series opener versus the division-rival Chicago Cubs.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich starred in Tuesday’s 11-3 blowout win over the San Francisco Giants. Yelich went 2-for-5 with a 407-foot grand slam in the sixth inning that broke the game open, giving the Brewers a 9-1 lead. He also doubled in the third, finishing the night with seven total bases and two runs scored. Yelich's hard-hit percentage (52.8%) and average exit velocity (91.9 mph) rank above the 80th percentile this season, suggesting potential for a jump in his numbers as April nears its end. Overall, the 33-year-old is slashing .222/.337/.444 with five home runs, 19 RBI, and five stolen bases across 95 plate appearances in 2025. Yelich and the Brewers will look to stay hot against Logan Webb on Wednesday.--Julian Brooke - RotoBaller

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich is taking a seat for Monday's series opener against the visiting Detroit Tigers at American Family Field with left-hander Tarik Skubal on the mound. Yelich will get a day of rest after starting each of the team's last 10 games. Isaac Collins will serve as the team's designated hitter on Monday night and will bat second against Skubal. Coming off offseason back surgery, Yelich does have three home runs in his first 16 games, but he's also hitting only .143 (8-for-56) in the early going with a double, 10 RBI, eight walks and 16 strikeouts in 65 plate appearances. Fantasy managers shouldn't start panicking yet, but he's been a disappointment after a very strong start in 2024. Collins is in a prime spot in the batting order but will be avoided by most DFS gamers against Skubal. The switch-hitter has gone 5-for-21 with no homers, two runs and two stolen bases so far this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
