Chris Sale Strong In Another Shortened Start
6 years agoBoston Red Sox ace Chris Sale tossed three scoreless innings while only allowing a single hit in Sunday's 4-3 win over the New York Mets. Sale recorded a single strikeout without issuing a walk. The 29-year-old has a 12-4 record on the season to go along with a 1.92 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, and 222/33 K/BB ratio. Sale is slowly building up his arm strength, so he should pitch about four innings in his next start on Saturday against the Cleveland Indians. He should be back to normal in time for the playoffs but at that point practically all fantasy leagues are already over.
