Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dede Westbrook caught four passes for 83 yards and a touchdown in Jacksonville's Week 2 victory over the New England Patriots. Westbrook's 61-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter helped the Jaguars ice the game and showed off his ability to gain yards after the catch. The bad news from this outing? Westbrook's five targets put him in a three-way tie for fourth on the team in targets. As long as Westbrook isn't having the ball thrown his way as much as it's going to his teammates, he'll remain an inconsistent option.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller

Free-agent wide receiver and return specialist Dede Westbrook is working out for the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday. The 28-year-old played four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars before landing with the Vikings last year, where he totaled 68 receiving yards on 10 catches. He also returned 22 punts for 183 yards, and it seems that would be his primary role if Minnesota were to bring him back. Ian Rapoport reported that a few other teams are also interested in Westbrook and that he is expected to sign somewhere in the coming days. His last notable year as a receiver came in 2019 when he cleared 100 targets (101) with 66 catches for 660 yards and three scores as a Jaguar. He would only have fantasy value if he lands somewhere as at least the third receiving option, which would not be the case in Minnesota behind wide receivers Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen, and K.J. Osborn.--Dessy John

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Dede Westbrook (ankle) is officially inactive on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys after coming into the Week 8 contest with a questionable tag. Westbrook has been far from the fantasy radar this season, as he has only seven receptions on nine targets for 59 yards in six games played for Minnesota. Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen and K.J. Osborn will remain the team's top three pass-catchers in the Sunday night matchup with Dallas. Rookie Ihmir Smith-Marsette and Dan Chisena will battle for snaps as the No. 4 wideout with Westbrook out of action this week.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
