Marlon Mack Should Return In Week 2
6 years agoIndianapolis Colts running back Marlon Mack (hamstring) has practiced in some fashion for four straight days this week. Last season, Mack flashed some big-play ability with his elite breakaway speed. He lacks the prototypical size to run between the tackles, which is why the Colts frequently scheme to get him out on the edge. Against the Washington Redskins, Mack could be a big piece as the Colts offense looks to get more dynamic if he winds up playing. While he may sacrifice some run touches here and there, he could be the main option this week as long as he's healthy. The Redskins had a good week against David Johnson of the Arizona Cardinals, but this week should be more of a shootout. Look for the Colts to get Mack involved in a multitude of ways this week, but he'll still be a very shaky flex play if he's active.
