Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson will take on a Seahawks defense that allowed the 14th most fantasy points to opposing receivers in 2017. Robinson led the team with 61 receiving yards in Week 1 but was mostly quiet in the second half. But Robinson flashed what makes him so valuable, bringing in a 50/50 ball for a reception and making tough catches in traffic. Quarterback Mitch Trubisky missed an easy touchdown pass in the end zone intended for Robinson and the offense should continue to look the receiver's way in the end zone. Seattle's defense is not the elite unit it has been in season's past and Robinson should be able to produce on Monday night. Robinson will be a solid WR2 choice for Week 2.--Joey C - RotoBaller

The Detroit Lions signed veteran wide receiver Allen Robinson II to their active roster on Thursday. Robinson joins Tim Patrick in being elevated from the practice squad to the active roster this week to give the team more insurance at the receiver position behind Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, Kalif Raymond and Isaiah Williams (abdomen). In the Week 3 win over the Arizona Cardinals, Patrick was on the field more than Robinson and caught his only target for an eight-yard gain. Robinson, meanwhile, only played one offensive snap and wasn't targeted. The 31-year-old is strictly receiver depth in Detroit right now and should remain on the waiver wire in all fantasy formats. Last year in 17 starts for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Robinson managed 34 receptions on 49 targets for only 280 yards and no touchdowns.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Free agent wide receiver Allen Robinson II is signing with the Detroit Lions, according to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team. Robinson was recently cut by the New York Giants earlier this week. The 31-year-old has struggled over the past few seasons after posting back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns in 2019 and 2020. Since then, the Penn State product has averaged just 343 receiving yards each season, and will now look to join his fourth team in four years. Currently, the Lions have two wide receivers on the injured reserve, Tre'Quan Smith (undisclosed) and Antoine Green (concussion), which could open the door for the veteran to serve in a depth role throughout the season occasionally. For now, fantasy managers should feel comfortable leaving Robinson on their waiver wire.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

The New York Giants released veteran wide receiver Allen Robinson II on Tuesday, according to a source. The Giants also cut Isaiah Hodgins as they work to get their roster down to 53 players before the start of the regular season in less than two weeks. Robinson will now head back to the open market after signing with the G-Men back in May. The 31-year-old caught only 34 of his 49 targets in his only season with the Pittsburgh Steelers last year for just 280 yards and no touchdowns in 17 regular-season games. If A-Rob does sign with a new team for the 2024 campaign, it will be his fifth different team in the last four seasons, a sign of how far he's fallen since being a second-round pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2014 out of Penn State. It's also concerning that he wasn't able to separate himself in a Giants receiving corps that doesn't have much experience.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

The New York Giants signed free-agent wide receiver Allen Robinson on Thursday, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport. The move to acquire a cheap veteran makes sense considering the weak group of pass-catchers on New York's roster, but Robinson has looked like a shell of his former self over the last three seasons. After two consecutive 1,000-yard seasons in 2019 and 2020, Robinson has totaled just 1,029 yards and four touchdowns over the last three campaigns. He tallied 280 yards and no touchdowns with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2023. Although he could provide value as an experienced leader in the locker room, it'd be surprising if he made an impact in fantasy football. Rookie first-round pick Malik Nabers is expected to be the No. 1 wide receiver for Daniel Jones right away, while Jalin Hyatt, Wan'Dale Robinson, and Darius Slayon with compete for looks behind him.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller
