Carlos Rodon Has Another Solid Outing
6 years agoChicago White Sox starter Carlos Rodon went six innings, allowing two runs on five hits in Wednesday's 4-2 extra-inning win over the Kansas City Royals. Rodon struggled with his control a bit, as he allowed five walks in the outing, but he also struck out five. After allowing a combined nine runs in his previous two starts, Rodon looked more like the pitcher fantasy managers saw register a 1.80 ERA in August. Rodon has a 6-5 record on the season to go along with a 3.10 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and 84/48 K/BB ratio. He can be trusted in his next start on Wednesday against the Cleveland Indians.
