EPL DFS Forwards to Consider
Romelu Lukaku - F, MU vs WAT (DK - $9,400, FD - $10,500)
Lukaku has been in hot form in recent weeks, with five goals in his last three games (including his two international matches for Belgium). The big-bodied center forward is an elite option this week against a decent Watford side. There are virtually no players who can replace Lukaku in Manchester United's lineup. Therefore, he should be considered an essential GPP play in a week with several highly priced options.
Jamie Vardy - F, LEI vs BOU (DK - $6,800, FD - $9,000)
A fantastic option on DraftKings, forward Jamie Vardy is returning from his three-match suspension to play a Bournemouth side that is due a heavy defeat. Vardy will look to silence his critics with a strong performance for his side as he attempts to turn his season back around. Although his price on FanDuel is a bit costly for his expected points total, Vardy offers fantastic value on DraftKings as a mid-priced option who is a locked-in starter for his side.
EPL DFS Midfielders to Consider
Eden Hazard - M, CHE vs BOU (DK - $10,500, FD - $12,000)
It is hard to take Hazard off of the recommended list due to his consistent performances to start this season. There is a reason why he is so highly priced - Hazard fits perfectly as the main attacking outlet for Sarri's Chelsea lineup. Therefore, Hazard will likely be a high-ownership option across both sites, making him a great GPP option and an almost indispensable player to own this gameweek.
James Maddison - M, LEI vs BOU (DK - $7,300, FD - $7,500)
A solid contrarian option for Saturday's slate, James Maddison has performed rather well for Leicester as their main playmaker this year. Since the departure of Riyad Mahrez, Maddison has been the central pivot in Leicester's midfield that is able to create and finish chances on his own. His price point suggests moderate ownership levels this weekend, making him a great option across both formats and sites for Saturday's games.
EPL DFS Defenders to Consider
Benjamin Mendy - D, MCI vs FUL (DK - $7,100, FD - $8,000)
Despite the huge cost you will have to pay in order to secure the services of the Frenchman, Benjamin Mendy is well worth it, as witnessed by his play so far this season. The attacking fullback has four assists in three games and leads the league in crosses so far this season, making him a perfect investment for fantasy owners and DFS players alike. Against a Fulham side that is known for giving up a lot of scoring chances, expect Mendy to shine once again, regardless of the format.
Kyle Walker - D, MCI vs FUL (DK - $5,300, FD - $5,500)
However, if you don't want to sacrifice the necessary funds to acquire Mendy, his right back counterpart Kyle Walker is also an excellent option. With a fantastic goal last time out, Walker looks to be a further attacking outlet for Manchester City. Although he is unlikely to have the same offensive boost as Mendy, the difference in price may be enough to justify leaving the Frenchman out for his English counterpart.
EPL DFS Goalies to Consider
Jonas Lossl - G, HUD vs CRY (DK - $4,600, FD - $4,500)
It's never a bad idea to have a goalkeeper who plays a side like Crystal Palace. Lossl retakes his spot in the lineup following an injury to goalkeeper Ben Hamer, giving him a great chance to rebound himself this season. Lossl is available at a great price considering his opponents. If the Huddersfield goalkeeper can stop Wilfried Zaha from finding the scoresheet, he has a good chance of keeping a clean sheet in between the sticks and making himself a very nice and inexpensive Tournament option this weekend.
Good luck this weekend!
