Luis Castillo Dominant In Tuesday's Win
6 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Luis Castillo turned in a stellar start in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Dodgers. Castillo allowed a single run on four hits (including a solo home run) and a walk with nine strikeouts through 6 1/3 innings. Castillo has had a disappointing sophomore season but now has tossed three straight starts of allowing two earned runs or fewer. The 25-year-old is now 9-12 with a 4.66 ERA, 158 strikeouts, and 44 walks in 154 2/3 IP this season. He will next face the Brewers Monday.
