Didi Gregorius Picks Up First RBI Since DL Return
6 years agoNew York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius is being eased back into the lineup since his return from the disabled list this past Friday, according to manager Aaron Boone. The 28-year-old started just his second game since then on Monday night in Minnesota and would pick up his first RBI since his last game of August. Gregorius played a role in New York's six-run seventh inning Monday night, drilling an RBI double and later coming around to score himself. The Yankees can afford to ease him back into the lineup as they want to do since rosters are expanded this month and Adeiny Hechavarria is another superb shortstop on the roster.
