Phillip Lindsay Finds the End Zone in First Career Game
6 years agoDenver Broncos rookie running back Phillip Lindsay vindicated former Broncos great Terrell Davis' decision to allow him to don his No. 30 this season late in the first quarter on a 29-yard touchdown reception which put Denver on the board en route to a 27-24 victory over the Seahawks on Sunday. Lindsay finished the day with just two receptions for 31 yards, but added another 71 yards on the ground, finishing the day with 16.2 fantasy points (18.2 in PPR). It's only one game, but Lindsay received 13 more touches than Devontae Booker in Week 1 and looks to be the second running back option behind Royce Freeman.
