Phillip Ervin Hits Two Home Runs, Drives In Four Friday
6 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Phillip Ervin had a monster day at the plate in Friday's 12-6 win over the Padres, going 3-for-4 with a bunt single, two home runs, a walk, and four RBI. It was the 26-year-old's first multihomer game of his career. Ervin has been solid since receiving everyday playing time, hitting .302 with six HR, 26 RBI, and three stolen bases in 144 plate appearances since the All-Star break. He is worth a look in dynasty leagues and would have been worth a look in single-season leagues earlier in the season, but at this point, fantasy playoff teams are likely set with their rosters.
