6 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith says that he is nervous but ready for his regular season debut. Smith was selected 91st overall by the Saints in the 2018 draft and has worked his way up to third overall on the depth chart behind wide receivers Michael Thomas and Ted Ginn. If Smith is able to prove himself to quarterback Drew Brees early in the season, he will certainly become a contributor in the explosive Saints offense that finished in the top five in nearly all offensive stats in 2017. Smith is a solid option for some WR depth in PPR leagues. Offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael isn't concerned with Smith's grasp of the playbook, either.--Corey Johnson
