6 years agoBuccaneers defensive tackle Vita Vea (foot) is not guaranteed to play Week 1 against the Saints. Vea sustained a foot injury in practice a few weeks ago and has not practiced since then. Although Vea is no longer sporting a walking boot, he remains questionable at best to play Sunday. The Buccaneers traded down and selected Vea in the middle of the first round to help bolster their poor run defense but may have to go on without him in New Orleans. Hopefully, the other new additions to the line (Vinny Curry, Jason Pierre-Paul) can hold it down up front until Vea's return.--Kev Mahserejian
