Justin Thomas Holds Onto Top-Five FedExCup Position
6 years agoAfter a share of 24th place at the Dell Technologies Championship, Justin Thomas has slipped from third to fifth in the FedExCup race. The top five after the BMW Championship this week will control their destiny at the season finale Tour Championship, so it remains essential for all players to try and get themselves into the top five before the week has concluded at Aronimink Golf Club. Thomas captured the $10,000,000 first place prize as the FedExCup champion in 2017 and will hope to successfully defend his title this season. As far as this week is concerned in Pennsylvania, the American has made four of five cuts on courses designed by Donald Ross, which includes a second place finish at East Lake in 2017.
