Niko Goodrum Swats 16th Homer
6 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman Niko Goodrum went 1-for-4 with a home run in Monday's loss to the Chicago White Sox. His solo blast came in the 7th inning off White Sox starter Reynaldo Lopez. It was his 16th home run and 45th RBI of the year. His season slash line sits at .234/.306/.429, chipping in 47 runs scored and 10 stolen bases. He warrants consideration in deep leagues as he is extremely versatile - he's eligible at first base, second base, shortstop, third base, and outfield. However, be aware that you're not going to get much production outside of the moderate power-speed upside he offers up.
