If Si Woo Kim is going to make the Tour Championship, he is going to have to provide a tremendous finish at the BMW Championship. The South Korean golfer has slipped down to 53rd in the FedExCup standings and will need to jump at least 23 players at Aronimink Golf Club to qualify for East Lake. It is going to be a considerable task to ask of the 23-year-old star, but there are reasons to be optimistic about his chances this week. Aronimink is a Donald Ross designed-course, and Kim has found success early in his career on them. He captured the 2016 Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club and finished in a share of 10th place at the 2016 Tour Championship held at East Lake. --Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller

Prior to his missed cut at the Texas Children's Houston Open, Si Woo Kim recorded five straight top-38 finishes, including four inside the top 25. He looks to get back on track at the Valero Texas Open, an event he has competed in seven times, making the cut in six straight appearances with four finishes of T23 or better. To repeat this success, Kim will need to be accurate with his approach game. He currently ranks 73rd in strokes gained on approach (0.174 per round), 88th in greens in regulation, and is in the 84th percentile for proximity from 200-plus yards, a range that accounted for 28.7% of all approach shots here last year. While he has found success in other areas, Kim's biggest strength is around the green, where he ranks 23rd in strokes gained (0.341 per round). Given his strong course history and solid form prior to the Houston Open, we're willing to overlook his missed cut and consider him a solid play at his $8,700 price tag on DraftKings.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller

This will be the fourth edition of this event that Si Woo Kim has played at Memorial Park Golf Course after making two previous starts at the Golf Club of Houston. In those three outings, he progressed from a missed cut in 2021 to a T35 in 2023 and a T17 last season. Strokes gained on approach metrics seem to be his make-or-break stat that has spelled out success or not at this event. The three events where he's gained strokes have resulted in a T35 or better, the two he hasn't has led to him not playing the weekend. Given his disadvantage in length off the tee, it's easy to see why his approach play is the key metric by default. The South Korean has gained strokes in this area in four of his last five starts at an average of +0.552, which makes him a decent spot-play at $10,500 on FanDuel. --Todd McGill - RotoBaller

With four top-25 finishes, Si Woo Kim has had a solid start to the 2025 season. This past week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, he finished T-19. His best finish was at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where he placed 12th. TPC Sawgrass is a venue where he has seen success with a victory back in 2017, where he won by three shots. The key to success at the stadium course is accuracy off the tee and precision with the short and mid irons. Kim ranks 24th in driving accuracy and 50th in strokes gained approach to green. After finishing T-6 in last year's PLAYERS championship, he is bound to contend again this week. He is a strong play in DFS at his $9,200 price tag. --Jake Walker - RotoBaller

Si Woo Kim will likely be a popular golfer for fantasy managers this week, and rightfully so. The 29-year-old South Korean is coming off a 12th-place showing at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and a T21 at the WM Phoenix Open, and he also notched a T6 result at the Zozo Championship during the Fall Swing. The four-time PGA Tour winner could be in line another solid week at Torrey Pines, as he ranks 17th in good drive percentage, 15th on approach from 175-225 yards, 21st around-the-green, 17th in birdie-or-better percentage, and fourth in par 5 scoring over the last 36 rounds. While Kim did miss the cut at Torrey Pines at the Farmers Insurance Open three weeks ago, fantasy managers should look to capitalize on his $7,100 DraftKings salary at the Genesis Invitational.--Ryan Hickey
