Chris Stratton Pitches Well Sunday But Takes Loss
6 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Chris Stratton turned in a solid performance in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Mets. Stratton allowed two runs on three hits (including a two-run home run) and no walks with two strikeouts in six innings. Unfortunately for Stratton, Noah Syndergaard pitched a complete game gem, so he took the loss. Stratton has been useful for fantasy players at times this season and remains a viable streaming option with a 9-8 record and a 4.90 ERA in 22 starts. His next start will be a tough matchup against the Brewers on the road.
