Ravens Decide To Keep Robert Griffin III
6 years agoIn a surprising roster cut-down day move, the Baltimore Ravens have decided to keep quarterback Robert Griffin III and head into the season with three quarterbacks on their roster. It was rumored that the Ravens had fielded some interest in Griffin on the trade market, but clearly there was not enough to garner a move prior to the final roster deadline. Head coach John Harbaugh has heaped praise on Griffin throughout the preseason, citing his locker-room presence, which bodes well for his influence on rookie Lamar Jackson. Griffin can be left off your draft boards for now, but keep an eye on him should his role improve via injury or trade throughout the season.
