Mookie Betts Leads Red Sox Offense On Wednesday
6 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts victimized the Miami Marlins in a 14-6 win on Wednesday night. Betts was 3-for-4 at the plate with a home run, three RBI, and three runs scored. The offensive outburst was nice to see as Betts had been a bit quiet in the run-producing department over the past two weeks. He had just three RBI in the 14 games before tonight. Regardless, Betts is still one of the absolute best bats in the MLB. He leads the American League with a .340 average to go along with 108 runs scored, 28 home runs, 68 RBI, and 26 stolen bases. He is a definite must-start every day.
