Dustin Johnson Falls to Second Place in FedExCup Race
6 years agoDustin Johnson will start the second leg of the FedExCup playoffs in second place. The No. 1 ranked player in the world is well on track to providing his 10th consecutive finish inside the top 30 of the yearly standings. Johnson has spoiled us over the years with his star-studded results, and we often take what he does for granted. To put things slightly into perspective, Johnson has made 57 of his previous 62 worldwide cuts, produced 10 victories in that time span and has put together 25 additional top-10 finishes. It is astonishing to think that the 19-time winner on the PGA Tour has generated a top-10 result in slightly over 56 percent of his events in the previous three seasons. Johnson is often knocked for not having more than one major title in his career, but let's appreciate the dominance he has shown in recent years.
